Hattie Cleaetta Maggard, 74, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept 15, 2015, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 23, 1941 in Hindsville, Arkansas, to the late Levi Henderson and Amy (Calico) Bragg.
She was a member of the Fort Branch VFW Post #2714 Women's Aux., and was of the Baptist faith.
Besides her parents, Cleaetta is also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Charles, James, and Homer Bragg, Anna Lee Morris, and Buelah Mae Vanderpool.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Maggard of Haubstadt, IN, 4 children, Hank Maggard of Evansville, IN, Brenda Marie Trail of Fort Branch, IN, Brian J. Maggard of Evansville, IN, and Sandra Lucille Hicks of Fort Branch, IN, 6 brothers and sisters, Phyllis Woods of Las Vegas, NV, Betty Williams of Springdale, Ark., Emma Badgley of Fayetteville, Ark., Lillie Guthrie of Huntsville, Ark., Isaac Truman Bragg of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Services for Cleaetta will be on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ark., burial will be in Venus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN and again from 10:00 AM until service time at the Brashears Funeral Home in Arkansas on Monday. The family request that donations be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas.
