Helen Catherine Hoefling, 86, of Fort Branch IN passed away on Dec 23, 2009 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton IN. She was born Feb 11, 1923 in St Wendel IN to the late Joseph and Louisa (Weiss) Will. She was married to the late Norman F Hoefling who preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 1976. She was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, The Daughters of Isabella, V.F.W. #2714 Aux. and the St Bernadette Aux. She was Co-Owner of Hoefling Texaco in Fort Branch IN. Besides her parents, Catherine is also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Will. She is survived by 5 children, Pam (John) Ridens of Fort Branch, IN, Marla (Phil) Scott of Owensville IN, Deborah Kuhlman of Glenmoore, PA, Kenneth (Joy) Hoefling of Fort Branch, IN and Denise (Jack) Kramer of Princeton IN. 4 Sisters, Rosella (Paul) Meyer of Fort Branch, IN, Heneritta Hahn of St Phillips IN, Mary Symer of Niles IL, Clotilda (Robert) Kozlowski of Evansville IN. 10 Grandchildren John D, Jeffery, Jay Ridens, Kathrine, Carrie and Jennifer Kuhlman. Joshua and Alex Hoefling, Kendra Collins and Will Scott. 11 Great Grandchildren. Services for Helen Catherine will be at 1:30 PM Saturday December 26, 2009 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch IN with Father Tony Ernst and Father John Sasse officiating. A rosary will be recited at the church prior to the funeral mass at 1:00 pm. Burial will be following at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch. Visitation will be December 26, 2009 from 8:30 AM till 12:30 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch IN Donations maybe made to River Oaks Health Campus for their activities, or Holy Cross Church for the Stained Glass Window Fund. Envelopes will be at the funeral home.
