Herman (DeWayne) Dyer, 50, of Paducah, KY. Formally of Fort Branch, Indiana, Passed away on Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky. DeWayne was born to, Warren and the late Glenna (Williams) Dyer on June 10th, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana. DeWayne was proud to have graduated from the University of Evansville, with a Masters Degree in Teaching. He was retired from the Union County Middle School and had worked at the Reitz Ctr. For 8 months. He was a lifetime member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at U of E, and was an avid sports enthusiast. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Amy (Veazey) Dyer of Paducah, Ky., his father Warren Dyer and 1 Brother, Alan Dyer of Evansville, Indiana. Services for DeWayne will be on Sunday, October 1st 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, Indiana, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Reverend Steve Akins will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 1st, 2006 from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the University of Evansville.
