Irvin Charles Dickman, 79, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Heart-to-Heart Hospice in Evansville, IN, on November 24, 2023. He was born to the late Irvin Charles, Sr. and Louise (Lovell) Dickman on August 6, 1944, in Evansville, IN.

Irvin graduated from Central High School in 1962. He started working for Whirlpool at the age of 18 and retired after 44 years of service. He married his wonderful wife Mary Margaret Reinhart on December 7, 1983. He loved his lifelong friend and cohort in life, Peewee Tutt, the outdoors, tinkering, and all the babies (his own and through the daycare). His beloved pets were Baroness, Holly, Heidi, Hannah, Greta, Elsa, and Koda.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Louise Dickman.

Irvin is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Margaret Dickman of Fort Branch, IN; children, Duane Dickman of Evansville, IN, Joe (Jeannie) Dickman of Evansville, IN, Melinda (James) Stone of Winchester, MA, Shane Dickman of Fort Branch, IN, Krystal Robb of Fort Branch, IN, and Zachery Dickman of Fort Branch, IN; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Pastor John Spencer. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
