Ivan Paul Creek, 102, of Owensville passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends at his home on November 11, 2025.

Paul was born on April 22, 1923, to the late Rayborn and Tressie (Staley) Creek in Johnson.

Paul was a 1942 graduate of Owensville High School. After graduating, he was drafted into World War II and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. After being discharged from the Navy, he married the love of his life, Genevieve Rozycka, on January 8, 1947. They spent 62 beautiful years together before her passing on March 6, 2009. He was an active member of the VFW Post 2714 and the American Legion. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.

Besides his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Genevieve Creek; and siblings, Alma Garrett, Thelma Jordan, Alene Montgomery, Eule Creek, Melborn Creek, and Clyde Creek.

Paul is survived by his 2 loving daughters, Sandra (Sarah) Griffin of Sedalia, CO and Sue (Mark) Boyd of Rockport, IN; grandchildren, Diana (Kit) Haskins, John (Allie) Mudgett, Daniel Mudgett, Carla Beckwith, Matthew Collis, and Trevor (Aleah) Collis; great grandchildren, Alex, Ayden, Jade, Gray, Marilyn, and Murphy; and a great-great grandchild, Kyiah.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Pastor Lori Frederick as officiant. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Owensville Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Veterans of Gibson County.
