James E. De Correvont, 73, of Paoli, IN passed away on February 25, 2013 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.  James was born on August, 11, 1939 in Evansville IN to the late Edward and Anna (Lapp) De Correvont.  James was a retired Railroad Engineer for CSX, a US Army Veteran , belonged to Ducks Unlimited, loved IU basketball, Nascar and Fishing.  Besides his parents James is preceded in death by a sister Patty De Correvont.

James is survived by his wife of 10 years, Carole (Money, Buck) De Correvont of Paoli, IN, children,

Kit  De Correvont( Michelle) of Newburgh, IN, Taylor (TJ) (Jenny)  De Correvont of Henderson KY. Step-Children, Dennis Field of Evansville, IN, Scott Volkman (Roxanne) of Evansville IN, Angela Field of Haubstadt IN, Beth Angle (John) of Haubstadt, IN. Grandchildren, Kyle and Alyssa De Correvont of Newburgh IN, Step Grandchildren, Kyle and Megan Angle, Lindsey and Chloe Field and Thomas and Sidney Field, Step Grandchildren, Brandi , Robbie Volkman, Ayden Walker, Megan Gaffney, and Christopher Bellamy also 3 Step –Great Grandchildren and  his dog Blue.  Special thanks to Shelia Ferrell, Michelle  De Correvont and the Staff of MS ICU at Deaconess Gateway. He is survived by his dog Blue.

Services for James will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 west in Fort Branch IN with burial in Mt. Mariah Cemetery in Fort Branch IN, where military Services will be conducted by the Fort Branch VFW Post #2714 and Haubstadt American Legion Post #194 . Visitation will be from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm at the funeral home
