James A. Hinman, 84, of Fort Branch, IN, Passed away on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Braun's Nursing Home in Evansville, IN.  He was born on Mar. 31, 1934 in Vanderburgh, County, IN. to the late Claris E. and Blanche (Allen) Hinman.

James was retired from Whirlpool Corp. after several years of service and was a member of the Cynthiana Masonic Lodge # 710, and the Evansville Scottish rite.

Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Vivian A. (Allen) Hinman, and a brother, William Hinman.

James is survived by 1 son Jeffrey (Dana) Hinman of Haubstadt, IN, 2 grandchildren, Jenna (Zach) Meyer, and Madison Hinman.  He is also survived by a sister Mabel Small of Ft. Myers, FL.

Services will be on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
