Jeanette J. Elpers, 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, IN, on November 28, 2022. She was born to the late Otto Kruse and Katherine (Kissel) Elderbrook on June 21, 1943, in Haubstadt, IN.

Jeanette was an avid reader, a lifelong babysitter, and a country music fan.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Elpers; sister, Joan Elpers; and stepfather, Frederick Elderbrook.

She is survived by her children, David J. Elpers of Beverly Hills, CA, and Tammy L. (Erick)Taylor of Dale, IN; significant other, Charles Stallings of Evansville, in; brother-in-law, Neil Elpers of Warrenton, IN; nephews, Steve (Beth) Elpers of Warrenton, IN, Stan Elpers of Oakland City, iN, and Scott (Allison) Elpers of Evansville, IN; great nieces, Claire and Ellie Kate Elpers; and great nephew, Luke Elpers.

Funeral services will be on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN with Father Gary Kaiser as celebrant. Visitation will be on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.
