Jerry Wayne Arbuthnot Jr. 48, of Haubstadt, IN., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN. He was born on Dec. 13, 1960 in Gibson County, IN. to Jerry Wayne Sr., and Mary (Blunk) Arbuthnot. Wayne worked for the last 9 and half years at Matrix Warehouse in Darmstadt, IN. and was a member of the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge # 696, and the Fort Branch Order of the Eastern Star # 455. He also spent 3 years in the Indiana National Guard. He is preceded in death by his father Jerry W. Arbuthnot Sr., who died Feb. 6, 2001. Wayne is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara (Baker) Arbuthnot, 2 step daughters, Jolinda (Jarrod Shantz) Leach of Fort Branch, IN., Nikki (Bert) Heddrick of Newburgh, IN., 1 Sister, Dianna (Terry) Wright of Owensville, IN., 2 step grand daughters, Chasidy Heddrick and Jaden Shantz, and 2 step great grand daughters, Lydia and Ayranna Toone. Service for Wayne will be on Wednesday, March 4 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. with Reverend Ron Austin officiating, burial will be at Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville, IN.. Visitation will be on Tuesday. Mar. 3, 2009 at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., where a Masonic Service will be conducted by the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge # 696 at 7:30 P.M..
