Jo Ann Mayer, 77, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17th, 2007 at the Chalier VNA Hospice Center in Evansville, IN. She was born on May 9th, 1930 in Haubstadt, IN to the late Paul and Cleo (Woehler) TenBarge. Jo Ann was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN and the Haubstadt, Daughters of Isabella. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by 1 grandson Jeremy Mayer. Jo Ann is survived by her husband Roger of Haubstadt, IN and 3 sons and their spouses, Scott (Jenny) Mayer, Bret Mayer, and Kenton (Lucinda) Mayer all of Haubstadt, IN., 1 brother Tom TenBarge of Haubstadt, IN., 5 grandchildren, Amanda Adkins, Jason Mayer, Kara Mayer, Damon Mayer, and Hanna Mayer. She is also survived by 1 great grandchild, Marty Adkins A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Saturday, Oct. 20th, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, Fathers Tony Ernst and Gary Kaiser will be the celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 19th, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN and again from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Saturday. A rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M. on Friday evening at the funeral home. The family request that any donations be made to the VNA Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
