Joe W. Lindauer passed away on June 24, 2014 in Evansville, Indiana at Charlier Hospice Care. We was born to the late Roman and Helen (Lovell) Lindauer. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother William (Bill) Lindauer.

Joe is survived by his wife Sharon of Fort Branch, Indiana, brother Darrel Lindauer of Henderson, Kentucky, daughter Gail (Roy) Nix of Boonville, Indiana, six grandchildren Aaron, Clayton, K.D., A.L., Chelsea Nix, Tillie Titzer, and one great grandchild Copper.

He served in the United States Armed Forces in Germany and Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the VFW post 2714. He also worked for Whirlpool and AMAX coal for a number of years.

Visitation will be Thursday June 26, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM. He is to be cremated and buried at a later date. Memorial Contribution may be made to your favorite charity. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
