John L. Addy Sr., died Feb. 10, 2004. A resident of his beloved New Mexico where he resided since 1959. Born in Preston, GA in 1924. He was raised in Mississippi and moved to Indiana prior to World War II. Drafted into the service in 1943, he served in London during the Blitz. He returned to Indiana where he met his lovely wife Dorothy Mae Rexing in Evansville IN. They spent 57 happy years together. They owned and operated Dot's Yarn World in Albuquerque for over twenty years. He worked at Kirtland AFB as a contract Administrator until retirement. He is survived by his wife and 4 sons, Ron, John, Tom, and Russ, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Holy Cross Cemetery. Father Tony Ernst will officiate. VFW Post 2714 will also conduct military services at the graveside. All Family and Friends are invited to attend.
