Joyce Ann Allen, 76, of Haubstadt passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 9, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Joyce was born on September 24, 1948, in Haubstadt to the late Adam Spindler and Mary Elizabeth (Stratman) Arnold.

Joyce was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and previously was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. For many years she enjoyed antiquing with several members of her family. She enjoyed camping with her family and playing cards, especially clabber.

Joyce is survived by her 2 sons, Ronald (Talene) Allen of Milton, FL and Ryan (Jami) Allen of Haubstadt; a grandson, Ty Allen; siblings, Carolyn (Wilfred) Goedde of St. Wendel, Donna (Denny) Swader of Fort Branch, Miriam Gauger of Evansville, and Stanley (Cindy) Allen of Bradenton, FL; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Gilbert Arnold; and siblings, Bernard J. Spindler, Sr., Mary Sue Spindler, William "Bill" Spindler, and Wayne C. Spindler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gary Kaiser as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with a rosary service at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will also be on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until mass time at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A committal service will follow mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
