Judy Ann Barrett, 77, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN, on December 18, 2022. She was born to the late Armon and Rosalind (Kiesel) Sensmeier on November 14, 1945, in Haubstadt, IN.

Judy was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN and of the Sts. Peter and Paul Alter Society in Haubstadt, IN. She graduated from Haubstadt High School in 1963. Judy ran an in-home daycare for many years. She enjoyed walking and being outdoors.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Gregory Barrett.

Judy is survived by her 3 children, Mark (Pegah) Barrett of Chicago, IL, Jennifer (Kevin) Seibert of Haubstadt, IN, and Beth (Kacey) Ross of Evansville, IN; sisters, Carolyn (Jack) Zenthoefer of Fort Branch, IN, Patty (Terry) Lowenkamp of Indianapolis, IN, and Sherrie (Terry) Ziegler of Haubstadt, IN; and grandchildren, Delany and Ashton Seibert and Atlas Barrett.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gary Kaiser as celebrant. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Stodghill Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until mass time. Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Haubstadt following mass. Donation in her honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
