Kathleen M. Leister, 92, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN. She was born on Aug. 2, 1924 in Fort Branch, In to the late Oscar and Mary (Heuring) Swader.

She had been a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church.

Besides her parents Kathleen is also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Earl Leister in 2004 and a brother Oscar Swader Jr.

She is survived by a brother Nolan H. Swader of Fort Branch, IN, several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her special caregivers, Charles and Judy Schmitt of Haubstadt, IN.

Services will be on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating.  Burial will be in walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.  Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
