Kenneth W. "Bill" Bent, 65, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on November 2, 2017 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. He was born to the late Charles and Cathryn (Sackett) Bent on January 18, 1952 in Evansville, IN.

Bill was the owner and operator of Bent's Garage in Fort Branch, IN for over 40 years. He was a member of the Fort Branch Jaycees, Kiwanis, DeMolay, and the Fraternal Order of Police.

Besides his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his brother Darryl Bent.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jennie (Lewis) Bent of Fort Branch, IN,; son, Will (Kimberly) Bent of Fort Branch, IN; sisters, Carol Ferguson of Petersburg, IN and Dawn Lindauer of Fort Branch, IN; nephew Brian (Leanne) Lewis of Princeton, IN;, grandchildren, Chloee, Allton, and Aubrey Bent and several nieces and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN with Reverend Corey Atkins officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Stodghill Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 1:00 PM to service time.
