Kevin Goedde, age 66, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at home surrounded by his family on September 18, 2025. He was born on February 26, 1959, to Vincent and the late Mary (Wilderman) Goedde and lived a life filled with family, friends, and community.
Kevin graduated from Gibson Southern High School in 1977 and spent almost 40 years working at PPG (later PGW and Vitro), where he built countless friendships and memories with his coworkers. Outside of work, Kevin was known for his love of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the Indianapolis Colts. He was also a familiar and friendly face at local restaurants, where he enjoyed connecting with friends. Kevin was a member of Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of St. John in Haubstadt as well as many bowling leagues and valued the camaraderie and fellowship he found there.
Kevin is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Dan) Wahnsiedler, Megan (John) Hammer, Kolleen (Aaron) Elpers, and Denise (Bruce) Overton. He was a proud grandpa to Jacob and Logan Wahnsiedler; Elijah Fisher, Aiden, Riley, and Jace Hammer; Bronson Silvers, Hunter Rodgers, and Wyatt Elpers; and Jayce, Keegan, Raiden, and Cruz Overton. He is also survived by his father, Vincent, brothers Ken (Beverly) and Jim (Paula) Goedde and sisters Trish Goedde and Carol Overton and many nieces and nephews and several other family members. He also had many close family friends who enriched his life.
