Kingston Jonathan Mathurin, age 6, of Owensville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by love at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis on October 31, 2025.

From the moment he was born at The Women's Hospital in Newburgh, Kingston filled every room with laughter, curiosity, and joy. His bright smile, endless energy, and kind heart touched everyone who knew him.

Kingston attended Little Miracles Daycare, Fort Branch Community School, and Vertical Church in Fort Branch. He loved music and dancing, and he was happiest when playing with his sister and many cousins. He had a big imagination and a special love for dinosaurs, monster trucks, Godzilla, and anything green — his favorite color.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Odlin and Jessica (Zimmerman) Mathurin; his sister and best friend, Crimson; grandparents, Diane and Randy Zimmerman and Odette Avril; aunts and uncles, Michelle and Ben Fuqua, Kim Zimmerman and Dale Jennings, Sarah and Paul Edwards, Carine Daletour, Virgine Mathurin, Nehemie Mathurin, Reinoso Seide, and Carl Henry Massenat; and cousins, Haley, Jasmine, Briley, Mykenna, Annsley, Kyla, Daija, Dame, Tinsley, and Nakeem — all of whom adored him dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, with Pastor Chris Templeton officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time, followed by burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Though his time with us was far too short, Kingston's joy, laughter, and love will live forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
