Lester Wayne Harper, 76, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on January 12,2015. He was born in Butler County Kentucky to the late Elbert Myers Harper and Grace Alpha (Davenport) Harper on December 30, 1938.

Following his graduation from Bosse High School, Wayne served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1957 to 1965,then attended the University of Evansville. Most of his working life he spent in industrial sales and later went on to be President of L W Harper & Associates, Industrial Sales and Service. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid boater who enjoyed national and international travel.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Nancy (Karnes) Harper of Haubstadt, IN, daughter Erin Ann (Brian) Willis of Fort Branch, IN, sons Eric Wayne (Shona) Harper and Kirk Robert (Katie) Harper both of Haubstadt, IN, and grandchildren Tanner and Cooper Willis, Shane and Brylie Harper, and Grace and Isabelle Harper.

Visitation will be on Sunday January 18, 2015 at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service for Wayne will be on Sunday January 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN. Officiating the service will be Reverend Gordon Jones and Pastor Steve Akins.
