Linda Lou Washburn, 65, of Princeton, IN. passed at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. on Thursday, Nov. 12th, 2009. She was born to the late August and Janette (Williams) Oubre on Feb. 4, 1944 in Johnson, IN. Linda had worked as a legal secretary for John Hicks in Princeton. She was a member of the VFW Post 1147 Womens Auxillary. She is survived by her husband, Larry Washburn of Princeton, IN. and 5 children and their spouses. Jim (Sheila) Piekarski of Frisco, TX., Patrick Piekarski of Roseville, MI., Larry Washburn JR. of Seneca, IL., Tony (Milette) Washburn of Princeton, IN., and Rhonda (Bob) Ort of Fort Branch, IN. Linda is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Allissa, Zach, Lacey, Haley, and Ryan Pirkarski, Jeffrey Sisson, Courtney, Hunter Washburn, Andrea, Robby, Johnny, and Taylor Ort. Services for Linda will be on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN., Rev. Kevin Wilson will officiate Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery in Johnson, IN. Visitation will be on Monday, Nov.16, 2009 From 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
