Lohrean A. Biel, 90, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Monday, Oct. 1st, 2007 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born to the late Herman and Minnie (Rhinefort) Kruse on Jan. 21, 1917 in Gibson County. She attended the Fort Branch General Baptist Church and was a member of the Fort Branch Order of Eastern Star. Besides her parents Lohrean is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence W. Biel on March 1, 1982, a daughter Loretta Sue Biel in 1939, and a sister Helen Meyer on Nov. 30, 1989. She is survived by 1 son Wayne Biel of Fort Branch, IN 2 grandchildren Sherri Kelley, and Gary Biel, and 3 Great Grandchildren. Services for Lohrean will be conducted at the graveside on Thursday Oct. 4th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Pastor Bill Kelley will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd, 2007 at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M..
