Lori L. Watts

Lori L. Watts, age 46, of Fort Branch, IN, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on March 21, 2026. She was born in Princeton, IN, to Merle and Darleen (Huelsman) Koberstein on August 4, 1979.

Throughout her life, Lori held numerous jobs and wore many hats, but she cherished being known as Mom and Mimi above all. She devoted herself to her family, relishing moments spent together. In her spare time, Lori enjoyed baking fresh bread, crafting organic candles, and tending her garden. She often shared, “I feel closest to God when I am gardening, and my hands are in the dirt.” Her passion for the outdoors led her to frequent side-by-side rides, gathering wildflowers for beautiful bouquets.

She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Koberstein, and brothers, Clint and Clay Koberstein.

Lori leaves behind her children, Brena (Cade) Virgin and Kelton Watts, both of Fort Branch, IN; her mother, Darleen Koberstein, of Princeton, IN; siblings, Tammie (Chris) Seibert of Washington, IN, Todd Koberstein of Fort Branch, IN, Cliff Koberstein of Princeton, IN, Kim Mckannan of Francisco, IN, and Brett (Dee) Koberstein of Madisonville, KY; granddaughter, Glory Jo Virgin, an expected granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
