Obituary

Lynn Renea Spindler, 51, of Haubstadt, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her devoted family on June 27, 2025 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Lynn was born on September 2, 1973, to Larry and Diane (Fetter) Kiesel in Princeton. She married Jason Spindler on November 15, 2003, and cherished her two children above all else. Lynn was a 1991 graduate of Gibson Southern High School and a 1996 graduate of Ivy Tech State College earning  an Associate Degree in Nursing.  She was a Registered Nurse for 29 years, most recently an Infection Preventionist at Deaconess Hospital. Her interests included reading, calligraphy, counter-cross stitch, painting, and traveling, with the beach being one of her favorite destinations, and interior design being one of her passions.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jason Spindler of Haubstadt; her two children, Claire and Collin Spindler; her parents, Larry and Diane Kiesel; and her sisters, Ann Staggs of Evansville and Cheryl (Jarrod) Brown of Haubstadt.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Sally Fetter; her paternal grandparents, Elmer and Dolores Kiesel; and her mother-in-law, Rosalie Spindler.
