Manuel "Rex" McCrary, 80, formally of Mt. Carmel, IL. died, Sunday, Dec. 13th, 2009 at Richland Care and Rehab in Olney, IL. He was born on Mar. 31st, 1929 in Jasper, IN. to the late Ellis and Marie (Cox) McCrary. He was employeed at Snap-on Tools in Mt. Carmel, IL for 32 years. He attended church at the Mt. Carmel Church of God and the Parkview Christian Church. He is survived by a sister, Vera Morris of Mt. Carmel, IL. and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Rex is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patricia Dunn and Aretha Hawf; 2 brothers, Ellis McCrary Jr, and Bruce McCrary. Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN. is in charge of Cremation. Private graveside services will be conducted at a later date.
