Marianne Lingis, 77 of Evansville, IN, formally of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Nov. 30, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.  She was born to the late Robert and Thelma (Schuble) Hallam on Nov. 28, 1943 in Evansville, IN.

Marianne was a member of the Vertical Church in Fort Branch, IN.  She was also a retired teacher, having taught first and third grade classes at Owensville Community School for over 20 years.

Besides her parents, Marianne is also preceded in death by her brother, Gary Schuble.

She is survived by her son Brian Lingis of Salem Wisconsin, a sister Susan Gould of Evansville, IN, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

There will be no service or visitation for Marianne as she will be cremated as she had requested. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
