Marie A. Sides, 89, of Speedway, IN, passed away on Friday, January 18th, 2008 in Indianapolis, IN. She was born to the lateBernard and Louisa (Farny) Hisker in Haubstadt, IN on Aug. 23, 1918. She was a member of the St. Christopher Catholic Church in Speedway, IN. Marie had formally worked at the Emge Meat Packing Co. in Fort Branch, IN. Besides her parents, Marie is also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Sides Sr., brothers Victor Dewig and Al Hisker, sisters, Mildred (Hisker) Key, and Lorene (Dewig) Titzer. She is survived by 3 sons James A. Side Jr., Ransom (Randy) Sides, and Gregory Sides all of Indianapolis.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. A mass of Christian burial was conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 at St. Christopher Catholic church in Speedway. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. A Graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch, Father Gary Kaiser will officiate.
