Mary Marie Conner, 96 of Fort Branch, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Waters in Princeton, IN. She was born on Sept. 20, 1907 to the late Henry and Lucy (DeLong) DeVault in Fort Branch, IN and resided here her entire life. She was a member of the Fort Branch Weslyan Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband John Conner who passed away on Oct. 3, 1997 and a grandson Jeff Conner in 1974. Mary is survived by 2 sons and their spouses, John Leslie and Rosemary Conner of Fort Branch, and Jerauld R. and Bert Conner also of Fort Branch. Also surviving is 1 sister, Goldie Beasly of Princeton, IN. She also has 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 24 Great Great Grandchildren. Services for Mary will be on Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch. Reverend M.L. Hughs will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Friends may call for visitation on Friday April 30, 2004 at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The family request that donations be made to the Fort Branch Wesleyan Church.
