Mary K. Allen, 82, of Fort Branch, Indiana, passed away at her home on December 30, 2022. She was born to the late Leo and Zelma (Glover) Goebel on October 2, 1940, in Evansville, Indiana.

Mary was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run, IN and the St. Ann Altar Society. She and her husband, Jerald, were recipients of the Brute Award in 2016. Mary worked for Grace's Antiques for almost ten years. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband after his retirement.

Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Paul, Leola Maihle, and Ronald Goebel.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerald Allen of Fort Branch, IN; children, Mark (Anna) Allen of Fort Branch, IN, Russell (Carla) Allen of Oakland City, IN, Jody (Jo) Allen of Francisco, IN, and Amy (Justin) Hardy of Paoli, IN; siblings, Nancy Hasenour of Haubstadt, IN and Joseph Goebel of Inglefield, IN; grandchildren, Randy Allen, Tony (Kristin) Allen, Heather (Ed) Schenk, Theron (Samantha) Allen, and Ryann Allen; and one great grandchild, Henry Schenk.

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father Chris Forler as celebrant. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with a Rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Catholic Burial will be at St. Bernard Cemetery following mass. Donations in her honor can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Hospital. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
