Mary France Marshall, 93, formally of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 at the Transcendant Healthcare of Owensville. She was born on Sept. 24, 1914 in Princeton, IN to the late Sylvester A. and Flossie (Hays) Griffin She was a member of the Fort Branch First Presbyterian Church Besides her parents Mary Frances is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Perris (CP) Marshall and a great grand daughter Melissa Carpenter. Mary Frances is survived by 3 children, Dianne (Roy) Carpenter of Owensville, IN, Patty (David) Neufelder of Anderson, IN, Linda (Joe) Scott of Tucson AZ, 6 brothers and sisters, Clifford Griffin, of Coldwater MI, Howard Griffin of Henderson KY., Jimmy Griffin of Farmenerton, NM., Dorothy Yates of Owensville, IN., Genieve Brines of Princeton, IN and Lola Ellis of Princeton, IN She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services for Mary Frances will be on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, Rev. Bart Newton officiating, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Visitation will be on Friday Aug. 29, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
