Obituary

Mary Allene (Mason) St. Clair, 95, of Princeton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at River Oaks Health Campus on April 30, 2025.

Mary was born on June 16, 1929, in Fort Branch to the late Charles "Charlie" and Goldie (Kramer) Mason.

Mary graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1947. Mary went on to marry the love of her life, Lloyd Thomas St. Clair, and together they raised 3 beautiful children. She was a member of Hillside Methodist Church (formerly St. Mark's United Methodist Church) for several years. Her life was a tapestry woven with threads of kindness, generosity and a deep love for her family. Mary loved spending time with her precious grandchildren, and her home was always a warm and welcoming haven. She provided unwavering support during challenging times and touched every life she met with grace and compassion. She also had a passion for gardening, flowers, collecting antiques, reading and journaling.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Brett (Polly) St. Clair of Princeton and Shari (Michael) Bazydola of Lebanon, TN; daughter-in-law, Lisa St. Clair of Princeton; grandchildren, Trevor (Karen) St. Clair, Ginger (Aric) St. Clair, Melody St. Clair, Ambree (Josh) Miller, Tucker St. Clair, Violet St. Clair, Alexis Bazydola, Carissa Bazydola, and Justin (Holly) St. Clair; great grandchildren, Asher Miller and Brianna St. Clair; siblings, James (Carol) Mason of Oakland City and Goldie (Paul) Newton of Florida; sister-in-law, Lynda (Tom) Zuber; and her dearest friend of over 60 years, Devona Elliott

Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Lloyd Thomas St. Clair; her son, Brian St. Clair; and siblings, Dorothy Jean Bunch, William Mason, Charlestien Mason, Norman Mason, and Sue Ellen Mason.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Service will be led by Rev. Jenny White. Burial will follow the service at Blythe Chapel Cemetery.
