Mary A. Riley, 74, of Francisco, IN. passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN. She was born on Jan. 7, 1936 in Haubstadt, IN, to the late Andrew and Geneveve (Martin) Hasenour. Mary was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run, IN. She was the Valedictorian of the class of 1954 at Haubstadt High School. She is preceded in death by a son James L. Riley in 1979 and a daughter, Sherry Lynn Riley in 1965. She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister, Danny and Susan Hasenour. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Riley of Francisco, IN. a son, Brian D. Riley of Francisco, IN, 3 sisters, Betty Ralph of Evansville, IN, Linda Wagner of Chandler, IN, Nancy Wagner of Chandler, IN, 3 grandchildren, Jamie R. VanDeWalle, Matthew J. Riley, and Jennifer M. Riley, 6 great grandchildren, Camielle and James Augustive VanDeWalle, Kristin and Elaina Riley, Desiree and Delainie Phillips. A mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run, Father Tony Ernst will be the celebrant, burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, and again on Monday at the Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until 9:40 A.M. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home Sunday evening.
