Obituary

Mary L. Field, 93, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at River Oaks Assisted Living in Princeton, IN.  She was born to the late Ed and Cecelia (Heck) Spear on Oct. 9, 1918 in Evansville, IN.

She was retired as a cook from Lakeview Truck Stop in Haubstadt, IN.  Mary was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN.  A member of the Haubstadt American Legion Post # 194 Women's Aux., and the Haubstadt Daughters of Isabella.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a great grand daughter, Sylvia Fischer in Dec. of 2011, and a brother, Robert Spear.

Mary is survived by 2 daughters, Sylvia (Robert) Sensmeier of Fort Branch, IN, and Elaine (William) Roth of Hancock VT, a sister, Irene Wolfe of Haubstadt, IN, 8 grand children, 19 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grand children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, July 12, 2012  at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Tony Ernst, and Father Brian Emmick Co-celebrants.  Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Haubstadt, IN.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN.  A rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made  to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
