Mary M. Williams, 76 of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 24th at St. Marry's Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born on Feb. 28, 1928 in Hazleton, IN to the late Barny and Myrtle (Thompson) Degenhart. Mary is a member of the Betlehem General Baptist Church in Fort Branch, IN. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband J. T. Williams who passed away in 1972 and 3 brothers Harry, Charles, and Dallas Degenhart. Mary is survived by 4 children, Brenda Williams of Fort Branch, Nancy Miller of Somerville, IN, Jenny Williams of Fort Branch, IN, and Sam Williams also of Fort Branch. Mary also has 1 brother surviving, Vesper Degenhart of Hazleton, IN. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Tom, Kent, and Winston Miller and Brian and Scott Williams. Also 2 Great Grandchildren, Bryce and Blake Williams. Services for Mary will be held on Saturday, August 28th at 10:00 A.M. ay the Stodghill Funeral Home Located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch with the Reverends Dennis Buttery and Kyle Sessions officiating, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Friends may call for visitation at the funeral home on Friday August 27th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The family wishes that anyone wanting make a donation, may do so with either the Alzhiemers Association, the American Heart Association, or the Susan G. Komen Foundation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
