Mary W. (Winnie) Oing, 88, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on October 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Lester and Ormel Phillips on March 1, 1928 in Princeton, IN.

Winnie was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Altar Society, Pink Ladies of Gibson General Hospital, and Haubstadt Daughters of Isabella, where she was a past Regent. She loved to play bridge, go bowling, and do crafts and needle work. She avidly followed local sports. Winnie's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Melvin Oing and her brother Walter Phillips.

She is survived by her sister Jean Wilhite of Melbourne, FL., as well as her children Karin (Bill) Bruckert of Johns Creek, GA, Deb (Katie Tierney) Oing of Kingston, RI, Randy (Mary) Oing of Green, OH, Gayle (Rick) Fair of Brownsburg, IN; grandchildren Bart Bruckert, Alison (Richard) Wright, Brandon (Lyndi), Jared,and Lindsey Oing, Nathan, Seth (Brooke), and Drew (Lauren) Fair, and Lydia Tierney; great grandchildren Veda and Presley Oing, and Beckett Fair.
