Melvin E. Wilson, 76, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.  He was born to the late John B. and Iris (Greer) Wilson on Sept. 1, 1942 in Evansville, IN.

Melvin was a member of the New Liberty Church in Cynthiana, IN.  He was retired from Potter and Brumfield in Princeton, IN after 30 years of service, and INDOT of Indiana.  He had also worked shortly at Whirlpool Corp. in Evansville.

Besides his Parents, Melvin is also preceded in death by his son David Wilson in May of 2014.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Sandra Sue (Boyle) Wilson of Haubstadt, IN and a son Daniel (Hope) Wilson also of Haubstadt, IN.  He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Chastity Curtis and Jourdan Wilson, and 2 great grandchildren, Olivia and Garrett Curtis.

Services for Melvin will be on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN with burial to follow at 2:30 P.M. that same day, at Asbery Cemetery in Omaha, IL.  Visitation will take place on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
