Michael L. Martin, 63, of Haubstadt passed away at home on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Mike was born March 31, 1958, in Evansville to Donald F. and Suzanne (Greubel) Martin. He graduated from Gibson Southern High School in 1976 and from Nashville Auto Diesel College. He started his career as a diesel mechanic at MRK in Princeton and Whayne Supply in Evansville before retiring from Alcoa in January 2021. He was a member of St James Catholic Church and Knights of St. John in Haubstadt.
Surviving Mike are his loving wife of 29 years Janet (Jochim) Martin, one son Evan and a daughter Jill both of Haubstadt and his 7 siblings Tom (Vicki) Martin of Chandler, IN, James Martin of LaFarge, WI, Jerome (Brenda) Martin of Wadesville, IN, Ronald Martin of Haubstadt, Anna (Jamey) Hannah of Mt. Carmel IL, John (Melanie) Martin of Evansville, IN; Therese Martin of Van Cleeve, MS.
Preceding him in death was his Dad, Donald F. Martin.
A mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Betz officiating, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mike will lie instate at the church from 9:00 AM till time of service.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with a public rosary at 2:30 PM conducted by the Knights of St. John
