Milton (Mitch) Barrett, 90 of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Aug. 28,2013 at River Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Princeton, IN.  He was born to the late Lewis and Laura (Dunham) Barrett on Aug. 17, 1923 in Cory, IN.

Mitch was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Fort Branch, and the Fort Branch Masonic Lodge #696.

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Barrett  in 2009, 2 sons Dennis M. in 1996, and Bernie R. Barrett in 2002, and 2 brothers John and Robert R. Barrett.

He is survived by a nephew and nieces, Connie (Gary) Utley, Nancy Dickenson, and John Barrett, and several nieces and grand nieces.

Graveside services for Mitch will be on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN at 2:00 PM. There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to Southern Care Hospice.  The family would also like to thank River Oaks, Southern Care Hospice, Dr. Patel, and Pastor Ron Austin for the love and care given to Mitch, these past few weeks.
