Nicholas A. Byrns, 39, of Owensville, IN, passed away in Greensboro, NC, on November 16, 2023. He was born to Steve and Jeanette (Reavill) Byrns on July 21, 1984, in Mt. Carmel, IL.
Nick attended Owensville General Baptist Church. He graduated from Gibson Southern High School in 2002. He was a Millwright for 20 years and a member of the Millwright Union Local 1076. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hunting Indian artifacts such as arrowheads.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia Byrns, Sarah and Carl Herrin, and Woodrow Reavill.
Nick is survived by his children, Deliah Byrns of Vincennes, IN and Aleek and Keyonna Byrns of Princeton, IN; parents, Steve and Jeanette Byrns of Owensville, IN; grandfather, Bill Byrns of Owensville, IN; brothers, Matthew (Megan) Byrns of Mt. Carmel, IL and Josh (Jennifer) Byrns of Owensville, IN; sister, Sara Byrns of Owensville, IN; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with Pastor Bob Douglas officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until service time. The burial will be at Maumee Cemetery in Owensville, IN.
