Nina V Blackard, 87, of Fort Branch, In, passed away on September 8, 2005 at the River Oaks Campus in Princeton, IN. She was born on July 7, 1918 in Gibson County IN to the late Oscar and Anna (Ohning) White. Mildred was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Branch, IN. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Blackard who died in January 1978. She is survived by1 daughter , 3 sons and their spouses, Peggy Ann and Morris Bruce of Oakland City, IN Larry Keith and Judith Blackard of Fort Branch IN William Robert and Joanie Blackard of Evansville IN and Michael (Mick) Gene and Nancy Blackard of Haubstadt IN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Misty Workman, Stacy Brittingham, Jason Blackard, Bobby Blackard, Barry Blackard, Cody Blackard, and Lana Richardt and 5 Great Grandchildren Emily McGowan, Kelsey Brittingham, Taylor Brittingham, Chase and Tanner Brittingham Services for Nina will be on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Branch , IN. Visitation will be Saturday September 10 2005 from 4 to 8 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on 168 West in Fort Branch and will lie instate at the church from 1 pm to service time Sunday. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions maybe made to the Gibson Southern Girls Basketball and Softball Booster Club.
