"Nora, our sweet baby girl went to be with the lord after fighting so hard for her short two months of life. She was resilient, brave and strong. Her sweet face and sassy personality were loved by all who met her. She touched so many people's lives and brought so many together on her journey before and after she was born. Nora was always known for her bows and bright blue eyes. We are so blessed to call her our sweet beautiful butterfly who flew to heaven to watch over us. We love you so much our sweet Nora Rose, all our love Mommy and Daddy." Nora Rose Berry passed away at St. Vincent Women's Hosptial in Indianapolis, IN on May 21, 2020. She was born to Brandon and Marissa (Geuss) Berry on March 23, 2020. She was baptized in the Catholic Faith. She preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Mary Jo Schlimmer and John Geuss. Nora is survived by her loving parents, Brandon and Marissa Berry of Fort Branch, IN, Paternal grandmother, Sarah Berry of Evansville, IN; maternal grandparents, Mindy Pohl of Vinings, GA and Darrell and Georgetta Geuss of Haubstadt, IN; maternal great-grandparents, Fred and Melba Pohl of Fort Branch, IN and Sally Geuss of Haubstadt, IN; uncle, Joe Berry of Vincennes, IN and several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. Services will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Father Tony Ernst officiating. Visitation will be at on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from noon until service time. A sanitizing station will be at the door with hand sanitizer and masks available. We ask that the public observe social distancing and masks are encouraged. Donations of bows, hats, and socks for NICU infants can be made at the funeral home or with the family.
