Pamela L. Ridens, 70, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away peacefully at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN. She was born on Sept. 14, 1946 in Haubstadt, IN to the late Norman and Catherine (Will) Hoefling.
Pam was retired from the Fort Branch Community School where she worked for 25 years as a librarian. She graduated from the Fort Branch High School in 1965. She was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN.
Pam is survived by her husband John Ridens of Fort Branch, IN, 3 children , John (Nicole) Ridens of Frankfort, IN, Jeff (Jennifer) Ridens of Haubstadt, IN, Jay (Jennifer) Ridens of Greenwood, IN, a brother and 3 sisters, Kenneth (Joy) Hoefling of Fort Branch, IN, Denise (Jack) Kramer of Princeton, IN, Deborah (Joe) Trigo of Downingtown, PA, Marla (Phil) Scott of Owensville, IN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Grant, J.T., Chelsey, Sidney, Cole, Grace, Braxton,Casey, Zachary, and Brayden.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN, with Fathers Tony Ernst and Thomas Biju as co-celebrants. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, and again from 10:00 AM until service time at the church on Tuesday.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Anthony Stephens and OHA Staff, Dr. Krishna Murthy and staff, River Oaks staff, the Heart to Heart Hospice staff and to the many family and friends for their support and kindness. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested any donations be made to the Holy Cross Catholic Church or to Chemo Buddies.
