Patricia J. Smith, 89, passed away on December 8, 2020 in Princeton, IN. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Gibson County, IN to the late William T. and Bessie (Shanks) Richie.  Besides her parents, she is preceded by her husband John James Smith in 1988 and a brother, William J. Richie in 2005 and a sister, Bernice Maikranz. Pat was a homemaker and Owned and Operated Pat's Ceramics for many years. She was a member of the General Baptist Church and attended Enon Church in Princeton.

Pat is survived by her children; John (Jan) Smith, Fort Branch, Debbie (Butch) Garrett, Owensville, Sherry (Rusty) Carnahan, Fort Branch, Tim (Sharon) Smith , Georgetown, KY,  and Steve (Julie) Smith, Oakland City. 9 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Graveside services for Pat will be Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Durham Cemetery in Fort Branch with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gibson County Animal Services.
