Patty Jo Titzer, 87, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN on September 2, 2022. She was born to the late Arthur and Lois (Broshears) Avery on January 6, 1935, in Evansville, IN.

Patty graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1952. Patty Jo and Elmo enjoyed many years of camping, boating, and fishing adventures during their years together, as well as time spent with children and grandkids.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Elmo Titzer; a daughter, Stacy Fluty; and a brother, Gary Avery.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherri (Peter) Thornton of Cleveland, TN and Kimberly (Thord) Hugosson of Fort Branch, IN; grandchildren, Jared (Lee) Kiesel of Bexley, OH, Adam (Cheryl) Kiesel of Antioch, IL, Jamie Channell of Portland, OR, and Chase (Sarah) Channell of Indianapolis, IN; great grandchildren, Wesley, Spencer, Harper, and Delaney Kiesel.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Donations in her honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
