Obituary

Paul A. White, 71, of Boonville, IN, formerly of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Heart-to-Heart Hospice in Evansville, IN, on August 19, 2022. He was born to the late Charles and Annabelle (Holmes) White on September 3, 1950, in Enterprise, AL.

Paul graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1968. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He started working for Transfrieght Trucking in 1998 which was later bought by Penske. He retired from Penske Trucking in 2017 after 19 years of service. He loved history and he loved to travel.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Mac and Jim White.

He is survived by his loving girlfriend of 25 years, Ethel Wallace of Boonville, IN, brother, Tom White; 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Megan Wesselman; and his good friend, Dean Perigo.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN with Pastor Scott Burr . Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Stodghill Funeral Home. Military Honors services will be performed by the Veterans of Gibson County with burial at Columbia White Church Cemetery. Donations in his honor can be made to the Salvation Army. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
