Pauline (Montgomery, Yeager) Shuler, 85, of Evansville, IN passed away on on Sunday, Apr. 11, 2010 at the Angel River Health and Rehab Center in Newburgh. She was born on Apr. 23, 1924 in Cynthiana, IN to the late Charles and Anna (Painter) Montgomery. She was a member of the Beacon Church of the Nazarene, the Moose lodge in Petersburg, IN, the VFW, and the POW-MIA Besides her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Loren Yeager, brothers Leon and Leland. She is survived by four daughters Roberta "Bobbi" Yeager, Janet Bretz, Beverly Hart, Sharon Bowling, a sister Paulette Baker, a sister In-law Bettye Stoz, 7 grandchildren, Zina "Davis" Brown, Jamie Bretz, Loren Miller, Dinielle Jones, Angie Smith, Tammy Hart, and Frankie Hart Jr., also surviving are 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, Apr. 15, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN, Pastor Paul Drake will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Apr. 14, 2010 from 12:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch, IN The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff at the Angel River Health and Rehab Center. The family also ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union in care of Roberta Yeager.
