Rena A. Wilkerson, 101, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Tuesday, Apr. 2, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN.  She was born to the late James Louis and Savannah (Russell) Wilkerson on Nov. 23, 1911 in Casey, Co Ky.

Besides her parents Rena is also preceded in death by husband Joe Wilkerson on June 19, 1997 and a son Mickey Wilkerson on June 20, 1971, a sister and several brothers.

She was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church in Windsor, KY.

She is survived by 2 children, Carlos (Carolyn) Wilkerson of Haubstadt, IN, Betty Joyce Miller of Princeton, IN, 7 grandchildren, Carla Sprinkle, Kathy Beasley, Teresa Bohnert, Roger Miller, Mark Miller, Jane Parker, and Robert Crawford.  She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Rena will be on Friday, Apr. 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghil Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 west in Fort Branch, IN, with Rev. Jeff Pienney officiating, burial will be Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.  Visitation will be on Thursday, Apr. 4, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  The family wishes to thank the Nurses and Staff on the fifth floor at Gibson General Hospital for the5 years of love and special care given to Rena, it is greatly appreciated.
