Richard Keith “Rick” Robinson, 68, of Princeton, passed away on October 8, 2026, at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 26, 1958, in Fort Branch, Rick was the son of the late Robert and Lillian (Vanover) Robinson.
Rick graduated from North Posey High School in 1976 and married the love of his life, Brenda Mullen, on August 23, 1988. He worked as an incoming inspector at Wabash Plastics for 46 years. Rick enjoyed watching IU basketball and cheering for the Miami Dolphins—until too many losses made him give up on the team. He also enjoyed collecting coins, but treasured time with his family above all. He was a member of New Horizon Fellowship Church.
Rick is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Robinson of Princeton; sons, David Lee Robinson of Princeton and Steve Robinson of Evansville; the mother of his children, Kim; stepchildren, Adam Hinsey and Terrie Ritchie; grandchildren, Lexie (Ethan) Webb, Ashlee Harper, Tiffani Carter, Kamryn Hinsey, Parker Hinsey, Aceton Robinson, Madison Bowers, Gabriel Hinsey, and Tristan Colschen; siblings, Sally (Mark) Redding, Sheri (Phillip) Wilson, and Jerry (Kathy) Buttery; lifelong friend, Angie Brooks; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Kent Robinson, David Robinson, Darla Robinson, Michael Robinson, and Sue Kilpatrick.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, at the funeral home and again from noon until the service begins on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
The family extends its deepest gratitude to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate, excellent care.
