Richard Schultheis, 79, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away peacefully at North River Health Campus in Evansville, IN on January 5, 2022. He was born to the late Leonard and Mary Louise (Luhring) Schultheis on June 2, 1942, in Haubstadt.

Richard was Christian in faith. He worked at Whirlpool online until retirement. He loved tinkering on antique tractors and loved farming, and animals. He also loved to travel with the love of his life, Rita.

Besides his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rita Schultheis; and siblings, Gerald (Betty)Schultheis, James (Pauline) Schultheis, and Don Schultheis.

He is survived by his siblings, Janet (Norman) Will of St. Wendel, June Bates of Haubstadt, and Leon (Lupe) Schultheis of Haubstadt; several nieces and nephews; and his caregiver and niece, Rita  Kiesel of Haubstadt.

The family would like to give a special thanks to North River Health Campus for all the love and care they showed him.

Richard was cremated by his request.
