Robert (Bob) E. Kiesel, 62, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on June 10, 2009 at his home. He was born in Princeton , IN on February 5, 1947. Bob graduated from Memorial High School in Evansville, IN and then from Bellarmine College in Louisville KY with degrees in History and Political Science. He owned and operated Mary's Furniture in Princeton, IN for 25 years. He also worked as an independent contract hauler for the Evansville Courier & Press for 15 years. Bob is survived by his wife of 24 yrs, Linda (Wetzel) Kiesel;daughter and son-in-law, Mary-Margaret & Jeremy Christian; grandson, Tristan S. Christian; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas & Becky Kiesel; niece, Dixxie Kiesel; nephew, Chet Kiesel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cletus & Mary Kiesel. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, June 12th at Stodghill Funeral Chapel in Fort Branch, IN. A prayer service and rosary will be held at 7:30 pm during visitation. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 13th at Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch, IN with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
