Roger Dale Miller,72, of Evansville, IN, passed away at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville on November 16, 2024. He was born to George William and Betty Joyce (Wilkerson) Miller on September 15, 1952, in Princeton, IN.

Roger was a member of the North Friendship General Baptist Church in Lynnville. He was a former policeman for the town of Fort Branch and was a technical instructor in automotive repair for UAW LETC for 21 years. As an instructor, he held 18 ASE certifications. In his free time, he liked to go drag racing, play bass guitar, listen to bluegrass music, and anything to do with computers including building and repairing them.

Roger is preceded in death by his father, George William Miller and a daughter, Zoe Kathryn Grace Miller.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Miller of Newburgh; children, Taylor (Timothy) Payton of Newburgh, Jordan (Tabitha) Miller of Fort Branch, Katelyn (Dennis) Geary of Newburgh, and Sophia Miller of Newburgh; siblings, Mark (Kris) Miller of Sebree, KY and Kathy (Mark) Beasley of Evansville; a niece, Christy Devine; 2 nephews, Mickey Miller and Kenny Miller; and 7 grandchildren, Aiden, Noah, Bryant, Harper, Cooper, Teagan, and Delilah.

The family would like to give special thanks to Deaconess Midtown Hospital, especially Dr. Stafford and his nurse, Brooke.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Reverend Cody Glassco officiating.
